Why am I always first?
LOL Maybe everyone's waiting for you to make the first post and only then they start replying. It's our little community talk tradition ;)

And there's another thing where you're first: you were the first member from Spain (and the only one).

Ha! Well I´m glad I can represent Spain a little, I´m not Spanish though, Scottish, but I think I´m the only Scot here too.

I actually waited this week just so I wouldn't be first, heh, but I was planning on leaving work 30 mins ago so I had to post but I´m still flipping here! Not for long though :-)

When I'm on the west coast I'm often first. Because I was still up on Thursday night when I replied. But it seems the two hours makes the difference and I'm in bed before this gets posted. But your replies are always a good opening. Why change what works?

As we speak, I am sitting in the backseat of the car on the way to a wine weekend with my friends. Our destination is a couple of wineries in Southwest Virginia. Expect some drunk posts/tweets tomorrow. All three of us have crackberries and laptops with us but the big evening entertainment will be the Wii and DVDs. Mind you, we're only staying until Sunday morning.

Otalia Nation is quite the bipolar place right now. We got great news that might be a foiler instead. We don't know. Then we got a spoiler that sounds just awful and now we're back in disappointed mode.

Update from the car: with a functioning GPS, we are lost in Maryland. Garmin was set to avoid highways. *facepalm* Still getting bad directions from the Garmin. We think it's pissed at us.

I'm sure I'll think of other things later.

Nice banner!

Looking forward to your updates.
Be safe and have a GREAT time.

I used to run around in SW VA. Let me know if it's worth the trip-

Busy weekend planned visiting parents. Mrs. Reefer needs some alone time - I've been on medical leave and so haven't been gone my usual 3 nights per week. Taking a huge load of books to the used bookstore in my hometown. Looking forward to that. My parents will have some honey-dos for me, small things to fix around their house...it took me years to train them to have the list ready, lol.

Prompt #1: I AM adopted. I was told this all my life in a very positive way. Parents who keep it from their kids are usually making a big mistake, IMHO. Had i found out later, it would have been a shock and a betrayal of trust.

Prompt #2: I'd go thru it all because I experienced and learned much of who I am today from these painful episodes. My goal in a breakup is to always behave with dignity. It's not always easy, but I have few regrets and know I aspired to do things right.

I hope your weekend won't be too stressful and that you have a good time :)

Very interesting prompt answers and I completely agree with what you said. Thanks for replying.

Hi Reef! Hope you have fun visiting with your parents. Also hope that Mrs. R enjoys her alone time. If she's looking for a distraction tonight, she can always log in here as you and just follow the craziness once folks have made it past their first few Friday night adult beverages. :)

I had a really, really intense week. One of my girlfriend's dogs had a dental and a little lump removed from her head for biopsy. She's afraid it's cancer but we won't have the results for another few days to a week. But we've been having to keep the dog from scratching the stitches so she doesn't break them open. We can't put a cone on her because she's scared of the cone - she was a mill dog and hasn't quite gotten over all of the trama ( ... )

I'm sorry to read about your intense week and hope both the dog and your best friend will be fine. And I hope you're doing OK too with all this :/

Thanks. I'm doing alright. Had a rough few days but I'm fine now. As for the dog and my friend, we'll see how things go. Hopefully both are good with time.

Oh GREAT!!! Happy prompts! ;P *snorts*

My week was slow. My friends and I started play basketball again so it's fun. Nothing much happened... it's strange though. ;P

Prompt #1: I was found at my parents' doormat. there is no other explanation for me being in this family. But seriously... I think that my parents would told me about it from the beginning. and I think I wouldn't have problem with that. My sister told me about this doormat when I was a kid and I was pretty happy about it! That really explained many things for me then. ;)

Prompt #2: I think my greatest love is happening now... so... :D :D no comment to that one!
