I had a really, really intense week. One of my girlfriend's dogs had a dental and a little lump removed from her head for biopsy. She's afraid it's cancer but we won't have the results for another few days to a week. But we've been having to keep the dog from scratching the stitches so she doesn't break them open. We can't put a cone on her because she's scared of the cone - she was a mill dog and hasn't quite gotten over all of the trama

Thanks. I'm doing alright. Had a rough few days but I'm fine now. As for the dog and my friend, we'll see how things go. Hopefully both are good with time.
Aww, poor puppy. I hate when animals are in distress. I've got my fingers crossed for good test results. And your friend, that is some drama. Good luck to him too.
Yeah. The dog is fine right now. We're just hoping the spot wasn't cancer. And thanks. I think he'll be fine with the treatment and some good support. It's just hard not being able to be there physically.
That does sound intense! Poor wee dog, I´m hoping for good results for your friend.
I don't know what your best friends PTSD is related too but my brother came back from Afghanistan last year, hes a medic and lots of his friends have been going through this,he has too but hes dealing with it and talks about it and thankfully it hasn't affected him too badly but it was bad enough for him to leave the army after 10 years and I´m glad he has, I don't want him to back there. I´m sure its difficult not to be able to be there for your friend, I wish the best for him.
I remember how nervous you were going to meet your girlfriend for the first time and look at you now! Loves young dream ;-)
Oh I'm really sorry that your week was that crappy! and then I came and put even more drama into it...
I so cross my fingers for Love's dog. It must be horrible to not know what really is going on, and tell me about keeping dogs from scratching the stitches...! I'll ask my mum tomorrow of she knows any tricks since she's a behaviour therapist and a traditional healer for animals, she should know something!
I hope your best friend is ok again! There's nothing more terrible than best friends in pain especially when you aren't able to help them. But I'm sure he appreciated it nevertheless and don't have a bad conscience about it! *HUGS*
Unfortunately she doesn't know anything either. She said there are some things that you can do when the stitches are on the body but nothing when it's on the head. I hope you can keep her from doing in some way nevertheless. And I hope it's just a lipoma! *hugs*
