Remarkably, our stumble-through went very well. Judy offered to be my dresser, which makes me happy, because there's something comforting about having a woman of your mother's generation be the one helping you strip-and-swap costumes. I hate writing rough drafts. I hate writing essays. I'm good at them: I can crank out a well-faked-through three-point essay in under half-an-hour if absolutely necessary, I just hate them.
