Revenge of the Wachowskis
Whatever your opinion of the Matrix sequels, this is just too brilliant to go unnoticed.
In brief: there was a bit of a mini-uproar among the fandom about this new videogame called "The Path of Neo" - which was to contain an alternate ending to The Matrix Revolutions. Many were, understandably, appalled at the idea: it goes against the entire philosophy of the films (and of the Brothers), it would undermine what the trilogy was trying to say, it's stupid to compromise art to appeal to the dissatisfied majority, etc etc.
...heeeeeeee. Is all I can say now.
