Didn't end up going to my aunt's, cos it was Jenna's birthday! So cute. Yeah, of all times I actually decide to take them up on their invitation ("come over whenever you like")... I have the worst timing. But s'all good. I finally got to catch up with
lonewolfbriar, which was much needed. Otherwise... watched XF, practiced guitar till my fingers fell off, ate food, did laundry, generally killed time pretty efficiently.
Then at around 7:30, my door randomly creaked open. A couple girls were trying to leave V (who was at work) a message on our white board and were completely terrified by our broken door (which won't close or lock). Hee. So we talked for awhile and they ended up inviting me to see the performance Theatre was putting on at 8: Last Night at the Ballyhoo... (which I remember my graphic design teacher doing the poster for, heh). Cute play, I'm always amazed when productions with so few scene changes can hold my interest. That's when I know it was good. ;)
So anyway, here I be.
Just finished reading
a rather nifty interview with Hayden Christensen about Episode III: that kid has a good head on his shoulders. Makes some very salient points throughout.
Oh! I forgot to mention: my Music teacher hath approved my presentation. I get to deconstruct two Muse songs and analyze all the elements (influences, arrangement, harmony, instrumentation, etc)... using the piano as my aid. WHEE. I have no idea how exactly I'm going to do this yet, but hey. Presenting on something I actually care about? What a novel concept.
And I am definitely ready to crash. Been getting tired earlier and earlier these past few nights... heh. Best obey the body.
