The part that I ordered from the states to replace the control-module on the boiler finally arrived today. It would have gotten here sooner, but Customs had to play with it for five days or so before letting it go though. Thankfully, the weather was relatively warm the last while, so things were not as bad as they could have been. It took me about 15 minutes to remove the old control unit and install the new one, including a slight modification to the power connector for the circulator pump. Once everything was hooked up, I turned the power back on and watched the LEDs on the unit light up one by one as it passed through the various stages until the flame ignited in the boiler, and stayed lit! The house is warming up nicely now, and we can finally put these electric space-heaters away. :)
