...not.
Yesterday was just one of those days where you're glad you made it through the day without killing anyone. Work itself wasn't that bad, and I didn't have any issues with anyone I dealt with there, but I was just in a mood and felt like biting heads off. The dreary weather, I fear, is getting to me; And it's not getting any better.
There's already 4" of snow on the ground, and more coming down. We're still under a snowfall warning, and have been for the last two days. It's not all that cold out, but the wind makes things miserable, and with the temperatures hovering just around the freezing mark the highways are nightmares! The horses aren't enjoying this much either; the paddocks are a slough of mud and manure, and there's nothing that can be done about it until it dries out again.
The only one who's enjoying this weather is the dog; He's running through the deep snow, jumping and bouncing and stuffing his nose into it, snurfling and rooting through it, just having a Grand Old Time. Mind, he hasn't been locked outside in it for the last few days either, so his opinion of the white stuff might change after today. The Kidling has his 4-H Welding course after school, so he won't be home until we come home, and I'm not leaving the dog locked in the house that long. So he'll be tethered outside instead; He has his dog-house, and the weather isn't too cold, so he'll be fine. Whether or not he's smart enough to stay inside his house where he'll keep warm(er) and dry is another matter.
(And now, just to be annoying, my connection crapped out again when I tried to post this. My old Microsoft Wireless-G router has been constantly losing it's connection to the modem lately. I'm assuming it's the router that's the problem, as the modem itself isn't showing any issues. At least it gives me a valid reason to upgrade to a new Wireless-N router.)
