An adventure and a hunt for Unnamed Pony :(
Hi there all. Long time lurker with some questions.
My best friend and I went on an adventure yesterday, which consisted of 4 Walmarts and 2 Targets, 1 TRU. This is all in about an hour radius of where I live, which never has anything (except we did have the only Target to have the Fashion Boutique Pinkie which I want so much for my wife's Pinkie Pie horde.. thinking Bday present!) But we never have recieved the Series 2 cards or dog tags. Only the plush, old blindbags, and the binders.
We found so much pony you guys. Seriously.
I had seen some stuff I had never seen before, like Pinkie Pie headphones (with Pinkie fro), some light up keychains, my first time seeing the dog tags (and deluxe dog tags), and even at Barnes and Noble, we saw a ton of older G4 books on sale (like the ones with the G4 figures, a search and find, ect.) We also saw the large plushies that have been popping up, 3 different ornaments, and we found a tiny handful of Series 2 cards.
At TRU, we asked the lady about the series 2 binder we found in the Pony section, because when checking the card section they only had the dog tags. She said they had -1 in stock. We ended up not getting it because Target has it cheaper, but she also said they haven't had cards in a long time. So, is Series 3 due out soon or something? I can barely find any Series 2 cards AT ALL.
So, my question I come bearing is, while at TRU we snagged as many dog tags as we could afford (14) and I'm a major Unnamed Pony collector, so of course that's who I was aiming for. Low and behold the last one of my friend's packs was her and I was so excited because I pulled the Metallic Rarity for her. XD I also managed to get both of the Pinkie tags in the deluxe sets later at a walmart.
My question is: Unnamed Pony Deluxe Dog Tag. Where do I get it? It obviously isn't included with the Walmart ones because we checked 3 and one was fully stocked with only mane six. No DJ-PON3 either. I'm guessing they haven't been released yet and the checklist says something about exclusivity. If anyone knows anything, the checklist number for Unnamed is "i9". I really want more info on this before I go back out again today.
