The Do Over Series by Dan Kirk
This is probably going to be my shortest rant ever. The Do Over Series was recommended to me by a number of people so I decided to give it a try. The writing is alright and I very much liked the sci fi/action/adventure aspects of these stories. Although I really tried hard, I only managed to finished three of the four books but the last one just felt too repetitive (probably because each book is a 'do-over' of the same time period).
Unfortunately, I did not enjoyed reading this series at all beause...let's just say the author and I have very different political views. I even venture to guess that the author might be a member of the MCC, while...well, I'm an NDP Canadian. If such things don't bother you and sci-fi/action/adventure is your thing (and don't worry, there's also plenty of romance/sex), this may just be the story for you.
