I hate hate hate hate hate searching for a place to live in Los Angeles.
What a stressful process this has been, and what a bunch of rip-off expensive offers are being put forth. I can't afford to live in half of these places and it's even more difficult to "browse" around while living in another country. *tosses hands in the air*
Yesterday Julia and I went on a movie marathon at the local theatre. It was supposed to last from noon til 9, but we cut out the last movie because I was tired and Variety had to fill out ANOTHER form. We saw Batman Begins and Cinderella Man. Batman was quite good and Cinderella was one of the best movies of this year. Definitely check both out, but especially Cinderella Man. It was filmed all around this neighborhood and it's really touching.
Tonight Julia and I went to see a taping of The Hour at the CBC building. That was pretty exciting. Over the past few days the two of us have spent a lot of time together for no clear reason. Maybe it's because I'm moving out in a week and she will follow soon after. Who knows?
Anyway, I'm really tired and someone is coming to tour this apartment early tomorrow morning. So...to bed it is! Goodnight.
