There was a very heavy army boot kicking the door down as Dean had found a trail on his brother leading to this place. His gun was up, aimed as he scanned the room. Night had fallen and from the looks of the room, Sam was already gone.

That was when he noticed the woman tied up on the chair. Not Sam's usual fair haired blonde, but she was an auburn...

"Oh, you got to be fucken kiddin'..." Dean muttered as he grabbed the sheet off the bed and started to tear it into strips. "Bela. Hey, bitch. Wake the hell up."

Bela could hear the voice, somewhere over the roar of her own mind, and there was something about it that was setting off warning bells, but as oppose to making her panic like they usually did, they just kind of rang dully for a moment before stopping. Curiosity about the voice wasn't enough to drag her out of her stupor, either, and she just continued to slip further into the black.

"Too late," she tried to say, thinking this was another one of Sam's plans to bring her back into consciousness again. "No more." Whether or not that was actually audible was anyone's guess, but she thought she'd heard herself say it.

All Dean heard was slurring mutters, so he did what he used to do to Sam when he was slipping into a concussion coma. He tired the bandages REAL TIGHT.

"That's it. Keep talking to me. You like doin' that so it shouldn't be too hard. You can start by telling me how you escaped Lilith's little dog show cause demons don't go into shock."

He leaned back and slapped her hard across her cheek. "I said wake up, damnit."

The force of the slap brought her back somewhat, enough to put a face to the voice she was hearing. It was a few more seconds before her green eyes actually brought him into focus in front of her, and then she started to panic all over again.

Because Sam had scared her, sure. But if Dean was coming at her from beyond the grave, she had a whole other mess of problems to worry about, and she was still tied to the chair. That didn't stop her from doing her best to try and get away though. She understood why it was her that they were coming after, but all she had wanted was to live. They shouldn't have really faulted her for that when they had been trying to do the same for Dean.

"No, please. I'm sorry. Just stop, pleaseNow she was begging. If Sam had been watching he probably would be disappointed, but that was the honest truth. Even driven completely insane, Dean still scared her far more than Sam did. In fact, she probably sounded more terrified than she did that night on the phone right before she was supposed to have died ( ... )
