Binge Writing

The meeting in London was great - and, honestly, I was pretty surprised about that. But the people were awesome and while they were lovely last year, this year felt a lot more productive - maybe because we were a really small group. And the workshop wasn't a complete waste of time this year either but actually quite helpful. Go us!

Since my last visit to London last June, I was playing around with the thought of moving and after this trip: Yes, I want to move to London. I can see myself surviving there.
A. is messing with my head so bad that a city the size of London seems to be about big enough for me now. Edinburgh won't do anymore. Of course, that's me being pathetic and I will be grateful if I can stay in the UK even after my job in A. ends and will shed tears of joy if I actually get to live and work in Edinburgh. Or London. Or Manchester. Hell, I don't really care, as long as it is not A.

The way back to the airport was hell, they closed down pretty much half of the underground system and while my trains were all working, I was not the only one using them and I actually used quite a bit of force to get on the trains. (I still want to live there. Maybe just for a year, then I can go back to live in small towns and be glad about the total lack of life? Yes, I am an ungrateful bitch and yes, I am whining. Deal with it. )

So I just about made it to the gate - no writing session at the airport so it is binge writing today (and marking. *arg* I have happily forgotten about those tests...). 10 days left!

nanowrimo, whining, writing, travelogue
