I'm now reading everywhere that it was an Icelandic volcano that sparked the French Revolution. Plus/minus general journalistic practice (i.e. wild exaggeration), why didn't they teach history like this? I'm pretty sure the unbearable boredom of history classes and the parade of numbers and dates would have been greatly alleviated with the addition ( Read more... )
