"Scorpius! Scorpius, wake up!"
The sound of Rose, hissing in his ear, caused Scorpius to crack open a bleary eye. "What time is it?" he asked, followed by a yawn.
"It's morning," Rose replied, her freckles standing out in stark relief to the paleness of her face.
"Bloody hell!" spat Scorpius, sitting up quickly. He and Rose had shared a magical, memorable night, but he'd planned to return home after. Instead, they'd fallen asleep.
His parents were going to murder him, but if he managed to sneak out, at least Rose would be spared the wrath of her own parents.
