Summary: Harry wants more than Malfoy's kisses.

Harry returned home, righted the few things that Panini had upset in his absence, and fed his kitten. "I can clearly see you are starving," said Harry, as Panini cried and wound around his ankles. "You butter ball." He set the dish down, whereupon Panini fell on it with great zeal.

Harry fixed himself some tea and toast points before sitting to enjoy his own breakfast. He didn't have to go into the Ministry today, which meant he'd have plenty of time to visit Dragon Brew and its snarky proprietor. Harry busied himself the remainder of the morning with tidying and other household tasks. He took a photo of Panini and sent it to Dean, encouraging him to adopt his own cat or kitten from Luna.

By lunchtime, his home was clean and he'd caught up on correspondence. It was time to visit Dragon Brew.

Harry stepped into the coffee shop, dressed in casual style. He was wearing a pair of jeans and a blue jumper flecked with green. Bethany was clearing tables with flicks of her wand, while Malfoy himself held court behind the counter. Harry stepped up and grinned at him.

"Mr Potter, what may we get for you today?"

"What happened to Auror Potter?" asked Harry.

"You're not wearing your Auror kit, are you?" Malfoy sassed. His snark ended with a small squeak as Harry reeled him in for a snog. It lasted longer than Harry meant it to, but that was because Malfoy's kisses were sweeter than wine and hotter than any coffee.

"Oy, you love birds! Get a room!"

Harry stepped back, chagrined at getting caught in the act. He wondered if he was as flushed and mussed as Malfoy appeared. Harry aimed a glare over his shoulder at Dean before turning back to the object of his desire.

"What do you say, Malfoy?" he murmured. "Shall we get a room? Have dinner at eight? We could always order room service instead--"

"Auror Potter, you are holding up the line."

Harry ducked his head and stepped to the side. "My apologies, Miss Ethel."

Dean moved up to the counter. "I'll have what Harry's having."

"Oh no, you don't!" cried Harry, jabbing Dean in the ribs with his finger. "Find your own barista, you bounder."

Dean yelped and then laughed as he handed Malfoy his to-go cup. "My usual, please."

Harry glowered at his friend until Dean completed his transaction, saluted him, and left. Ethel and her twin sister Mabel stepped forward to place their orders, while Harry slunk over to his regular table to wait his turn. Again.

Bethany sidled up. "I can take your order if you'd like, Mr Potter."

"Thank you, Bethany. I'll have a Long Black and a Potter Panini."

Several minutes later, Malfoy brought Harry's order to the table. He set the items in front of him.

"What's this?" asked Harry, eyeing the plated food.

"It's a piece of my ham and gruyere quiche, along with one of the lavender lattes you like. Before you insist I sack Bethany, I substituted your order myself."

Harry took a cautious bite of the quiche. "Mm, this is good."

"Naturally."

"A bit full of yourself?"

"I'm not the one who ordered a Potter Panini."

"I'm not the one who named it, you wanker," Harry snapped. He saw the humor dancing in Malfoy's eyes and rolled his own in response. Harry took a sip of the latte before focusing on Malfoy.

"Are you busy tonight? It's my turn to top."

"I am busy tonight," Malfoy replied with a casual shrug.

"Truly, or are you being coy?"

Malfoy smirked at him. "Both, perhaps."

"Git."

Malfoy laughed lightly. "I need to get back to the kitchen, as I have a new employee to train."

As if on cue, there was a crash from the kitchen, followed by a startled, "Oops!"

With a sigh, Malfoy stood up. "Duty calls." He leaned in and pressed a quick kiss to Harry's lips. "Enjoy your lunch, Potter. It's on the house."
