Sigh...and not in the good way (as
charwise_maygee would say). So I had two assigments due at "midnight" and I got confused on which day the "midnight" referred too...oh well.
In other news,
neonmike22 may take back his monitor that I previously hated, but now have made friends with...
this is why you don't rant about things until you know you hate them...
oh well, I wish the monitor well and my little bird friends that live on the monitor: Tinky, Winky, and George...I wish them well too :)
I've just finished Stuck in Neutral by Terry Trueman. It's a very interesting book with an open ending. The main character has C.P. and cannot move a single muscle of his body voluntarily. There is no way for anyone to know what he is thinking or even that he is actually an intelligent, funny, and wonderful person trapped inside of a body that will not respond to his wishes. Although his situation may seem depressing, the Shawn is an upbeat and humorous young adult who can remember everything he has ever heard (since age 4). However, Shawn's father is struggling with his son's condition and is contemplating putting him out of his misery... Despite this dark aspect to the book, the overall tone of the book is very hopeful.
