Well, after a truly absurd process, simplewordsmith got into Simmons! Life is better.

So, simplewordsmith and I just got back from a weekend in Philadelphia visiting my grandparents. Normally I don't tend to post about things like this, but this weekend was a little surreal.

John finally knows when he is going in for his sleep study. He will be going in on the 27th, which means he will miss the housewarming, which is bad. However, it does mean that they give him money, and he gets out before school starts, which is good ( Read more... )

shadowheart_ acquired six free movie tickets that need to be used by the end of this month. Despite hearing mixed reviews, I would like to go see The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The tickets didn't cost me anything, so I figure it's worth my time. I'm taking one of the tickets and shadowheart_ will be taking another. That leaves four tickets that are up for grabs.
