As an undergraduate, I worked in a large, well-funded microbiology lab. I mostly worked as head lab tech, but I also did some research studying the function of a particular protein in E. coli in collaboration with a much smaller lab.  I am starting wasping season, and I'm looking for new locations to collect and videotape wasps.  Specifically, I am looking for this wasp (Polistes dominulus):

As most of you have probably heard, I spent the winter in Washington state and Costa Rica.  Washington was much fun of all the usual types.  There were shiny people, tasty food and good music.  Move the adjectives around however you like.
