Well, I could claim that I'm updating because I just gave out my livejournal name to someone, and feel like I ought to have something a little more recent on here, but more realistically I'm posting because I have two tests tomorrow that I should be studying for, so I'm doing something--anything--else, instead.
As I don't like to get involved in the online rants and livejournal drama when it involves other people, I'm not saying anything about the person who I gave my name to. If you want to ask me, IM me.
I am, of course, back at Brandeis, without my sweetie (*grumble*), butother than that having lots of fun. Except of course for the fact that two teachers shoulod not be allowed to give tests on the same day.
My klezmer band is starting back up again, although the name has been thrown into contention, and is the subject of much argument right now. We're looking for another guitarist, a brass player, a percussionist, and maybe a pianist. So, if you happen to know anyone who is interested in the Brandeis area, get them to email me!
I'm working as a research assistant to a composer who is working on a massive work based on the songs and poems of the holocaust. It's mostly proofreading music and running errands, but it should be an interesting project. I really like the Professor, so that's a good sign.
My friend is currently running an all evil character D&D game, which I'm playing in. It's fun playing the only character who even pretends to care what happens to the commoners. Hey, saving people's lives is really useful. It makes them a lot more likely to support and follow you. Letting people know you don't give a dmn about them leads to all sorts of problems.
If you're in the area and you're not signed up for intercon, sign up and play in my LARP!! I'm running Welcome to Scearbridge, and I promise, it's much stranger than the blurb makes it sound. Unfortunately, all the good information is secret.
My SO and I have been plotting characters for the Werewolf game at home. I'm really looking forward to getting to play mine. Damn this being on the wrong coast thing.
My life just took a small turn for the unexpected out here. Not anything drastic, but I still have to figure out where it's going. Myabe once I'm a little clearer on that I'll post more information. Acutally, judging by my posting history, probably not, so. if you want to know what's going on, ask me.
It's been Bellingham weather here: 40s or so and misting or drizzling constantly. I feel just like I'm at home.
Bispace is on the verge of falling apart, which is really annoying. For some reason, we're just not getting any frosh in this year. However, I will start up HMS Brandeis. No, really, I will. No, really.
Things have been really crazy this year, and I guess I could complain, but I do it to myself, and, to be honest, I thrive on it. It's the only way I relaly function, and I know it. Hey, as long as I'm having fun, I guess.
So, congratulations a post,
