Well, I did finally find an Ani Difranco song that fits my situation. It's not a particularly happy thing, but I feel better about it now. I was really starting to worry. All crises in my life must be accompanied my an Ani-written theme song!
The new theme song is "Sorry I Am" on Not a Pretty Girl. Yeah, I didn't say it was a good thing.
Ugh. I am currently at work, and I'm here until 6. That is entirely too long. I just want to go home and get some sleep. Then I have orchestra from 7-10. Lucky me.
At least break is coming up. It will be good to be home, and see everybody. And, hopefully, get to at least a bit of con.
This weekend is timelines, the LARP with no public information whatsoever, so that should be interesting. It's at MIT, so I guess I'll see the MIT people from the con. It's interesting, the cross pollination amongst the colleges and gaming groups here. Apparently it was the MIT people who came up with the term "Geek Archetype" to describe the fact that all gamer nerds anywhere look like other gamer nerds you know. WE ARE NERDS. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE. YOU WILL BE ASSIMILATED.
