Or something . . .
Well, I am typing this in Linux, currently leaving it running in the vague hope that it will not crash again this time, and will, in fact actually let me keep running it. I have had this computer for about a week, and had both linux and windows running on it for several days. In that time, Windows has not crashed once, however, Linux has crashed more times that I could easily count. Nat, my wonderful, helpful, computer savvy friend has been trying to make it function, however, so far, nothing has kept it working. Everytime we think maybe it's really working this time it freezes again.
Well, I'm sure I'm jinxing myself on this one, but this last time has been running for a few hours, and stil seems to be working, so, *keeps fingers crossed*.
Well, this is my first post since Tom left, but I guess there's not really too much to say about that, except that things are pretty much returning to usuall. It was great having him here, but it's a bit of a relief to have things back to . . . well, whatever it is that passes for normal around here.
I have new goth pics from while he was here, if you want to see them, ask me. They include the general theme "Hippy Attack," in case you want to see it.
Ani is a good thing, however, it's odd, for the first time since I can remember, I'm going on an Ani binge without fixating on one song. I keep bouncing back and forth, from song to song, CD to CD, without any real focus, or theme. Maybe for once, as great as her stuff is, she doesn't really have the theme song I'm looking for, whatever it is.
Maybe that's a good thing.
