   They're making a "Alvin and the Chipmunks" movie. And the digitally animated (but they're more real looking than animation - "digi-animatronic" perhaps?) chipmunks look really annoying!    The highlight of today was that Jeremy and I were near his house in Huntington Beach around lunchtime, so we stopped in there and made ourselves hotdogs for lunch. I love hotdogs.

As such, this treatise will not benefit from the wisdom of that book (which I heard somewhere is pretty good).    So there's bloody hand prints at the top of the stairs in our house, and no one knows how they got there. No one has had blood on their hands lately (that we know of!). Mum just noticed the hand prints this evening. They actually go sideways on the wall next to the stairs, as if someone was being pulled down or something ( Read more... )

Last Samurai
   Returning from Tahoe on Friday, Kwisty and I went to see The Last Samurai   Overall I think the movie was very good. The only thing that bothered me was in the end when the two gatling guns managed to kill everyone in front of them even though they were only marginally capable of swivelling.
