Author's note: I originally wrote this for falsefallacy under whim because she said she couldn't write SiBum and needed to finish her drabbles. LOL. And now she won't take it ;P But I made her promise to link it back to her journal so that's good enough :D

There was a reason why Siwon didn't like hospitals, didn't like the white sheets that covered the bed he was forced to lay down on. His mother had been a doctor, diagnosed him herself with manic paranoia before he had found himself staring at her lifeless body, a knife embedded in her stomach while he stood in a deep pool of crimson red.
And then he stepped in, white coat and glasses. Kim Kibum, his nametag said.
"You seem to be alright. A little bruised up but you'll live," Kibum said, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose.
"It'd be nice if you could remove the handcuffs too," Siwon said teasingly, noting how the other didn't cringe in fear at him, merely giving him a smile of his own that sent a thrill down his spine.
"I'll see what I can do about that," was the only reply he got before Kibum walked out.
"Doesn't it scare you?" Siwon asked, stopping Kibum in his tracks. There was an almost innocent quality as he had voiced out his question. "I mean, you might be the one to end up dead for the price of helping someone who's taken the lives of others. Doesn't it ever bother you by any chance?"
Again, that smile graced his lips. "I'll take my chances."
Siwon wondered if he could get diagnosed for the fluttering feeling in his stomach.
