Anakin sat at his desk working on his Cyborg Relations crackfic story.

It wasn't going very well.

Every now and again he turned to look at the door like he was waiting for someone.

A week full of classes and rumors and disappearances had managed to take Anakin's mind off of the strange vision he and Obi-Wan had seen at the haunted house.

But he hadn't forgotten about it completely. And in his dreams, the vision shifted. Changed.

He knew Padmé was busy but he had learned from Lee the night before that women like it when you're thoughtful.

After Sulking Club Deep Thoughts Club, Anakin and Lee came back to have a discussion about chicks girls things have nothing at all to do with their love lives. Really.

Anakin had not slept well, tossing and turning despite the exhaustion of two straight days of fighting zombies.

His dreams had been full of gleaming metal, swirling, uncontrollable emotions, and an amused, familiar laugh that sent uncomfortable prickles up his spine. There had been fear--of him--and he had reveled in it.

Obi-Wan would be proud of me. I was seriously provoked tonight and didn't crush demonbelthazor with the power of my mind. I stopped and weighed the consequences, just like he taught me. Plus side--no more Belthazor. Down sides--one way trip to the Dark Side, probably blow my shot with Padme forever. So I'll let him go for the time being.
