Guys Night Out: Good Idea
Obi-Wan would be proud of me. I was seriously provoked tonight and didn't crush demonbelthazor with the power of my mind. I stopped and weighed the consequences, just like he taught me. Plus side--no more Belthazor. Down sides--one way trip to the Dark Side, probably blow my shot with Padme forever. So I'll let him go for the time being.
But the fight Jayne and Hurley got into at the bar was well worth the irritation of my floormate. And this totally beautiful girl--Rita? I thought I had heard her being called by a different name--was very friendly at the bar. I walked her back to the dorm to make sure that nothing, you know, ate her (I have a feeling Principal Connor wouldn't be all that concerned about such an occurrence), and then checked her room and closet and stuff for the squid monster.
What? I was totally being a Jedi about it. Only pure intentions and stuff. *snicker*
Besides, it wasn't like Padme was around to distract me or anything. I don't even know where we stand right now, especially given what that piece of Bantha poo-doo Belthazor was insinuating tonight. I won't brood, it's not becoming, I won't brood, it's not becoming...
m_samuelle was with us and stopped me from doing something to Belthazor I'd probably regret. I think he and I are going to get along just fine. Heck, anyone to back me up in Professor Gandalf's Comparative Religions class would be a good thing. That guy is seriously creepy. I mean, creepier than Mace Windu. He' s on Master Yoda levels of creepy.
Homework for next week:

Adv. Negot: 2 page paper. Specific example of when you think advanced negotiations are necessary, how you would handle it, and how you think it should NOT be handled. Heh. Totally talking about the giant squid.
Sleep tonight, research tomorrow. Assuming the library hasn't moved location again. Or I'm not attacked by giant Ewoks. Around here, anything's possible.
