Its winter now, I can feel it.

Doing the job hunt thing again.  I decided in late November that I wasn't going to move north, that I'd be staying in Southern California.  At that point I felt a great hurrah! at having decided something.  I had a part-time temporary job at the time and felt no burning rush to get a new job.  Now that job ended right before Christmas, as it was suppose to.  And I didn't start looking again until today (ok, looking in my world counts as scanning through listings).  I know I'm not alone in thinking that job hunting is boring, annoying, a necessity, and well, slightly spirit breaking, though I find a good nap can revive me from all those not so productive reactions I get.  Anyway, that's what I'm "up to".  Air quotes and all.  Though what I was also up to today (note lack of air quotes because this stuff seemed more valid than my hour and half looking at listings) was watching a Doctor Who marathon on BBC America, reading manga (Pri, I totally finished that one you lent me), napping (after the first attempt at job hunting which I found depressing-ish), knitting, and watching 24.  Woot.  I'd like a non-soul-sucking job.  Something I'd be happy to go to everyday.  I don't think that's in the near future, but a girl can hope.  Plus I'm broke, what with buying all that yarn and going on my San Francisco trip, so maybe a job soon.

Enough with that.  Here are some photos.  I give you my knitted hat in progress!!!  (first thing I've ever made other than a scarf, actually)
