ouch. ouch ouch ouch.
This morning as I was walking from the train station to work, I managed to smack the back of my hand into something that was rather hard. Metal, most likely. And pointy.
By the time I got to work, I had a nice little red lump where I'd been hit. And my fingers were numb.
Pain pills, ice. Kept it up near my shoulder as much as I could while getting morning snack ready for the preschool kids.
After a while my fingers got all normal-ish again, though wiggling my index finger on that hand makes it hurt pretty bad (the ouchie is near that tendon).
And now it's been a good long while since I hurt it, and it's still got a red bump, still very painful, and still not really reacting to painkillers or ice.
It is very ouchie.
