Some recs and such
Today is a good day against all my expectations. This happens rarely.
The first thing that greeted me as I was staring blearily at my computer screen was a little blinking message light tellling me that my sister was trying to speak to me for some unholy reason at 6:30 in the morning. It turned out to be this Firefly vid, which I imagine most fans have already seen, but is worth the late rec. Pure joy in a vid, y'all. Watching women being awesome is in fact the best way to start my day.
I am also 2 episodes from being done with the 1st season of T:SCC. Ahhh! I offically adore this show now, though it took about half the season for me to get into it. I love Cameron and Derek the best so far, but Ellison is this close to joining them now that they've started giving him a personality. Who am I kidding though, I really like all of them. Probably more on this later. :D
And on that subject, again for the maybe two interested people who might not have seen it, the trailer for the the new Terminator movie looks very BSG, y/y? It might even be enough to overcome my complete apathy for Christian Bale. :)
And last, but most certainly not the least, pellucid wrote a gorgeous Lee and Laura fic, Order of Succession . The awesomeness of it is currently frustrating my ability to be coherent about it, but yes. It fits into something I only vaguely knew I needed to see and reminds me of one of the reasons I've loved this show so much. Very powerful in a quiet way.
