Today is a good day against all my expectations. This happens rarely.

The first thing that greeted me as I was staring blearily at my computer screen was a little blinking message light tellling me that my sister was trying to speak to me for some unholy reason at 6:30 in the morning. It turned out to be this Firefly vid, which I imagine most fans ( Read more... )

Heh, and it's more amusing now because, before I joined up here, I was throwing all of these recs at her.

T:SCC has really grown on me, I may have to go find more than the handful of fic and vids I've seen. My monofannishness is increasingly threatened. ;)

Well, BSG is still that show for me. It's the reason I came here and about 90% of what I do on here too. But others are sneaking up, mostly dead shows though. Farscape, Firefly, West Wing, T:SCC...I really need them to not cancel Terminator. :(

Your other big one is Stargate, yes? I'm a little intimidated to catch up there, I haven't watched in years.

SERIOUSLY, I AM THIS CLOSE. The last couple of episodes have really done a lot for me loving the hell out of Agent Ellison and the show in general.

I ended on Cameron dancing because it was just that perfect of a stopping place, but my finger is inching towards the play button as I type.

And your story is more than deserving of the rec. :)

the trailer for the the new Terminator movie looks very BSG, y/y?
Y/Y! Wow. That trailer almost scares me. But I want to see that movie very much. Poor guy who thought he was human. :-(

I don't know why I don't watch TSCC. But I do now what to do a whole Terminator movie rewatch. I know they weren't all good but I do like that world.

That trailer is very intense. It's always the ones who don't know they aren't human that get me. :(

Yeah, I'd sort of casually avoided TSCC for awhile because I thought I'd met my quota for apocalyptic robot dramas for a bit, but it's pretty good stuff. The movies are interesting because I always LOVED the ideas behind them and the world they created, but the execution was always a bit...off. Fun, but not as awesome as their potential. Especially the 3rd one, which was terrible, but had some of the best questions behind it. Hrmm, now I want to rewatch too.
