(no subject)
so i've been running into a lot of weird people recently:
theres the kid at swim practice who told me only to tap his left foot if I needed to pass him...freak
then theres the lady volunteer at the library who asked me to show her how to use the copy and then proceeded to kiss me on the cheek for at least 10 seconds and call me a modern woman because i could add new paper...
then theres the patron at the library who was trying to commit a crime. it was very interesting. i was shelving my non fiction dvds all to myself and this lady walks straight up to the desk and asks barb if we own this movie. as barb looks it up, she walks away and starts looking at other dvds, which I thought was rude. I was right next to her, and I watch her try to put the tv series dvds (its a bigger case) back on the shelf. I ask her nicely if she wants to return the dvds, and she walks away from me. I went into the back and watched her go over to the books on cd where she puts a random cd on a shelf, and keeps walking around. norine looked up the cd and it was still checked out to her, but she refused to come over to the front desk. I think she was trying to steal the dvds and didnt like me next to her--she was probably putting back empty cases.
tomorrow 110 volunteers from math works are coming to help move books and furniture in the library. its crazy. apparently they are bringing a dj.
