this morning was very nice: Bobbie, Damek and I went geocaching! we started at "wayland 8.0: lake cotitchuate vista" where bobbie and I had tried to find a cache before. The first time, we were on the wrong side of the road. Very quickly, we made it to the cache's general location. But we could not seem to find it! There was a pile of rocks but they hadnt been moved for a while, and then we used to clue--hemlock sapling-- which did not help at all. finally we called alex to see if the webpage said it had been visited recently/ moved and a suggestion by him led to our discovery. Surprisingly, there was a travel bug inside! Its a little dog tag-like piece of metal that has a barcode on it. the profile can be accessed online, and it will tell you where in the world it wants to go. Online ours was the Jeep adventure one, but it didnt really say where it wanted to go. it just wanted to get somewhere. We went to the ballpark to find another cache but we couldnt. it was really open and obvious but apparently the cache was hidden trickily. Also, we found out when we got home that there were bugs on the tree which means it could have been sprayed and the cache removed. Overall it was very nice.
Now I have the house to myself and the animals because mom and kevin are at the beach. my schedule did not come, but hopefully it will tomorrow because i always predict they mail them on a monday or a wednesday.
