The summer's not over yet, but its been great. I guess the "real summer" is starting this month because it will be more like all the old summers, but I liked the changes and busy last month. i could have stayed at NYLF forever and really wish to have a reunion. playing frisbee, grass fights, jello for dinner, ice breakers, italy!, huge sunglasses, bad dancing, bottomless bag-- it was all sooo worth it. the big things were great- learning about doctors, learning about compassion, learning about my peers and learning about myself, but those little things like popsicle juice and making postcards just put me over the edge when I think about it. vermont was a nice vacation too, but leaving on friday made it seem so short. i want to go back there soon. the beach trip today was also awesome. I really liked the freshmen and I hope they will open up a little more, but i would have been shy too if I went my freshman year. im really sad paul is not our coach anymore but hopefully he will still visit. i guess it can get even more awkward when I see him at the library or stop and shop...I definitely want to have a "sat home all day doing nothing" day soon...
