i like it when things go right for once...

anyway, so i filled out an application for a summer job here in moscow with a really good children's program and yesterday i got an email from the director asking if i could come in for an interview!!!! i'm so excited! so, my interview's on tuesday at 2pm and if i get this job, i won't have to start until june 7th, which means i'll pretty much have a month to come home to fg and hang out for a bit. i really hope i get this job b/c it'd be a full 40- hour work week at nearly $8/hour for about 10 weeks....that's so much money!

p.s. i just got off the phone with my friend katie, cuz she was one of my references since we did that tutoring club together our freshman year, and she said that guy sounded really impressed with me...*glee*
p.s.s. so in my practicum today, which i was there in the elem school for 4 hours today, i got knocked down by a pudgy kid. the entire school (1st-6th grade, which is only like 80 kids) were playing a game of capture the flag--civil war style (since some of them are learning about that). so the team that represented the north had little arm bands and things, but anyway, this one kid was chasing after another and the fleeing child darted away which left me in that path of the pudgy kid. needless to say, he crashed into me pretty hard and we both toppled over and i got a few minor grass stains on my nice dress-up pants. oh well, it was still funny.
