i guess i didn't post all of april? oops
anyway, just a few quick things before i rush off to do some marathon tutoring...i'll be coming home on thursday evening since this is the last week of school and i will be staying through the following thursday. if any or all of you are going to be around/available i'd love to hang out--maybe have a husband or 12. :) also, it falls during the weekend of mother's day so if you'll be home visiting the fam, gimme a call too!!! i just finished my last final and i am now officially starting my summer vacation and will have most of this week to do NOTHING! go me. i'm also kind of rediculously sick at the moment, but i'm hoping i'll be better by the time i come home.
i guess i haven't been doing a good job of keeping you all caught up on stuff, but anyway, i got a really pimp summer job working with the local youth center through the moscow parks and rec where i will, essentially, be heading my own summer youth program. so, i'll get to organize activities and plan out stuff. i even get my own budget and can buy anything for the program i want. ANYTHING. how cool is that? but it'll be neat because the kids will get to go on various field trips, go to the local aquatic park once a week, and just do fun stuff...did i mention i'll be getting paid to do this full-time??! :)
the summer program doesn't start until like mid-june, but i start working in their after-school program for a few hours each day pretty much next friday (which is why i can't stick around in FG for very long). so, yeah, that's the recent scoop on things.
