I lost my knitting bag. I know I last had it in the pre-concert warmup on NYE. I called Benaroya Hall security and he looked for it, but it's not in the lost and found and he didn't see it in the warmup space. I suppose I might have brought it downstairs and left it backstage, but I think then it would have gone to lost-and-found, too.
In this bag was a half-completed silk and cashmere blend
Ice Queen I was knitting for my mom's birthday (which is three days from now, I doubt I could finish one in time and I can't get more of the yarn anyhow) and a barely started
scarf in Manos silk blend. All together about $40 worth of yarn, a tube of beads, a special bead-applying crochet hook, my size 9 Denise needle tips and a cord, and an ebony circular needle. *sob*
Pip has been spending some nights at mom's over this break. When I went to pick him up on Sunday, he told me to go away. "Go away mommy. Mommy go home. See you tomorrow." And cried and pitched a fit when I wouldn't leave. I know it's that he was enjoying being the center of grandma's attention and didn't want to be around baby brother, but I feel awful nonetheless.
