Recently we bought a huge carton of goldfish crackers rather than the usual bags, so we've been giving them to Pip in a bowl. Yesterday he brought his bowl to
wrog and said "I want sixteen goldfish daddy" (to which, whoa). So they went into the kitchen where
wrog dutifully counted out 16 fish. Pip looked at the bowl and how full it was (or wasn't), looked at
wrog and said "twenty." So he got four more, and went off happy.
Just now Wm came toddling out of the kitchen with an apple. He handed it to me and I said "apple." He tried a couple of times and said "apple" back. Then I went and washed it and cut it up and we are eating apple slices together, and he keeps offering me a bit and saying "apple! apple!" He is very proud of himself. And while we were at the doctor's today changing the bandages on his arm he kept saying "all done all done."
Hm, now he is trying to give apple slices to my boobie. Hey kid, food only comes out of there... it doesn't go back in.
