Three Lamb chops please

More on K the small country town I worked in. I remember it was very hard at first because Jamie and Nathan had to stay back in Perth until we could find accomodation for them. Finally the great day arrived and we were all back together living in the town. We brought a ute for Jamie and I to travel to work in every day and Nath went to the local school, life was good. K is a farming town and we made a lot of friends in the area. A farmer gave us a sheep to keep in our back yard. It was a happy sheep, didnt need any feeding,it just quietly nibbled contentedly away at the tall grass where it was fenced in.
One day we came home and to our surprise we found no sheep. It obviously hadn't walked out through the gate so we knew someone had helped themselves. (This happened rather a lot in K. I remember one week end we came back to find all our outdoor furniture was gone, but that's another story).
We missed our sheep and didn't own a lawnmower so one day Jamie put an annoucement over the local radio. The message was, 'you may have needed this sheep more than we did and that's ok,however, if its good and tasty maybe you could share a couple of lamb chops with us. The next morning we found three lamb chops which had been left at our door. They weren't cooked but as my mother would say its the thought that counts. *grin*
