Super groggy and slow this morning.  Its like part of my brain turned off.  I'm sleeping okay, though I'm thinking about pushing my dose back by an hour cause I've noticed I get too sleepy too soon, then have to fight to stay awake, which in turn makes it harder to go to bed ( Read more... )

Okay, so, a couple of those questions I answered with the word "muscipula", which is the species name for the Venus Fly Trap.  The reason being, I had a (freaky) dream last night where I worked/ lived on Amtrak, and I had a black head on my cheek, but when I went to pop it out, it turned out to be a large venus fly trap that would emerge every time ( Read more... )

So, we've created a wiki for DavisLARP.  Lots of people have jumped on to edit it,which makes me so very happy!  There's already been a passel of drama, which is completely not surprising, but its being handled.  I'm learing wiki mark up, which isn't that hard - especially considering it was created as a short cut to HTML.  It reminds me that I've ( Read more... )

I'm thinking about teaching a cooking class at the new DFC Teaching Kitchen (tm) this spring.  I want to do a bento lunch class, to show people delicious, non-sandwich, not necessarily leftover foods that they can bring to work/school/wherever.  I also want to talk about the history and use of bento in Japan (which would include a really brief ( Read more... )
