Meme followup
Okay, so, a couple of those questions I answered with the word "muscipula", which is the species name for the Venus Fly Trap. The reason being, I had a (freaky) dream last night where I worked/ lived on Amtrak, and I had a black head on my cheek, but when I went to pop it out, it turned out to be a large venus fly trap that would emerge every time i squeezed the skin around the black head. I found it more annoying in my dream than scary. After all, I don't think my skin care company makes an anti carnivorous plant creme.
I currently laid up in bed, because my back is starting to kill me. I fell down the stairs on the bus this morning. At first, I thought all I had done was skin a couple knuckles, jam a pinkie, and jar both wrists, but about 30 minutes after the fall, my back started to ache. Its been slowly, steadily getting worse since then. I wasn't able to take anything for it until I got home from class (about 3 hours later), and I still had to go to work - its a Carrots in the Classroom day.
Funny thing about Carrots - we had a crazy teacher today, who told us Valley Oak, but doesn't actually seem to work at any of the program currently running out of the Valley Oak campus. So, Hannah and I came back to the store after wandering around for awhile. We went through the deserted office, found a friendly maintenance guy who lead us to the Childrens Center, then checked in at the Bridge School. No one had heard of this woman at Valley Oak, though one person thought she might work at Montgomery... So, we ended up not having a lesson for the day, and Julie gave me the option of working for another hour (cause they have to pay me for 2 hours anyway) or taking ETO and going home. Obviously, I took the latter, and I'm pretty glad I did.
Bleh. This Friday feels like a Monday!
