Can I just say how EXCITED I am for this movie? Disney is just hitting all cylinders for me right now - it almost feels like the 90's.

The trailer just came out and it caught my attention. I think I might have seen a version back in school but that was so long ago and I was not as much a fan of musicals as I am now.

Great cast: Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, etc. I enjoyed Amanda Seyfried in Mamma Mia! so I'm excited to see she is in this.

The trailer is out! I'm really excited and can't believe we're past the halfway point between Parts 1 & 2. I admit it wouldn't be a Harry Potter trailer without the "ooh, that's an interesting change" moment but I was surprised there wasn't like a final spoken line at the end. That is usually the memorable part to me of a HP trailer.

Can't wait to watch it ... I've enjoyed every Flagship Disney animated film since the Pixar guys took over (Meet the Robinsons, Bolt, The Princess and the Frog).

I happened to catch the cartoon network premiere of Batman: The Brave & the Bold earlier today just before I went out for my run. I have to say I wasn't that impressed by it. ( Premiere episode babble )

A teaser trailer has come out for the new Get Smart movie coming out next year.  I must say this looks like it has some potential.  Steve Carell can certainly play Maxwell Smart, and I think casting the cute Anne Hathaway as Agent 99 is a pleasant surprise.  I am a HUGE fan of the original 60's series, and there's a VHS tape somewhere in my room ( Read more... )

I did this back in August covering the last half of 2006 and a bit of '07.  This is much more for my benefit in that I'll just be listing movies that interest me at the moment and I may want to watch eventually be it through theatres or DVD.

As I'm sure any Potter fan and probably those who aren't and have been exposed to the news anyway, the title for Book 7 was released today.  Seems to have caused a slight mass hysteria with the fandom, everyone racing to post their theories on the chosen name.  The title makes it sound like a dark book right from the start.  Obviously it'd be ( Read more... )
