Home. I've missed food. In combination of my 'welcome home' dinner and my dad's birthday we went to Sol Azteca(Tex-Mex place in Olney)...and it was AMAZING. Oh god, so glad we went there. Woah. The Paris Opera House(Opera Garnier) was amazing! We took alot of pictures. The staircase was very much like the one in Phantom too. To conclude Florence, I climbed up 450 odd steps to be at the top of Duomo Cathedral and it was amazing. Also went to two museums, science and history which had many things the ?Medicis collected and a museum about the Duomo and religious history behind it. Florence! After a long boat ride, I'm in Florence. I love the food here; more over the gelati, it's amazing! I really like this city, the people aren't as assholeish as in Rome. My room is right by the Duomo Cathedral and several of the museums I was planning to check out. I'm sad that I only have two full days here because of the ferry fuck-up. ( Read more... )

Jesus christ, not our fucking day. A day ago we called several train stations for time tables on trains going from Athens to Patras. They tell us there's one at 1pm and 3:36, that arrive at 5 and 7 respectively. We picked up a timetables book from the ferry company and see there's a ferry at 8 everyday from Patras to Ancona.
