I am wearing sample contact lenses at the moment and I must confess that it's a bit disorienting. I've never worn them before. Taking one out at the doctor's was difficult, and putting it back in afterward was infuriating. But I think I figured out the best way to do it for the time being. I have a follow-up on Saturday (no New York fun for me), at which point I will figure out whether I should buy them at Wal-Mart or order them online.
Okay... it's really weird being able to wear my headphones and see the monitor at the same time!
Anyway, I'm hopelessly addicted to wizard rock. I'm sure that doesn't surprise you. I just thought I would mention it.
We should be cooking a lot more in the next few weeks. Some snack company wants to bottle a salsa to go with their munchies. We let them sample a jalapeno salsa we made just for that purpose and we love it. It's funny that while my brother was in high school he wanted to go to college to become a chef and now that's exactly what he's doing, minus having had gone to school.
While I should be working on music or, y'know, work, I'm watching YouTube videos that fans have put up of the Remus Lupins' northeast tour. As I can relate, a lot of people are going crazy waiting for the tour diaries, so I thought I would leave links to them on his comment board so people will stop complaining. Most of 'em are really good. Now I wish I had gone to the TT the Bears Place show! The good news is that someone recorded practically the whole thing. Observe:
