So, I'm sitting in the office at Better Than Freds essentially doing nothing. Mike's here. We're listening to Brian Regan on Mike's iPod. We've also watched one of his shows on YouTube, as well as a Dane Cook show. I think I've been here for... 1 1/2 hours, waiting for a pallet to show up.

See, apparently we made this huge mistake bottling some salsa the other day and we have to, subsequently, repackage 9 kettles worth of product. Oh yes, it'll be nice and fun. But the pallet hasn't showed up and I don't expect that it will until 7 or 8. But we're waiting just the same. It was our goal to get it done today, but I don't see that happening. Even if the pallet shows up, it'll take us 5 hours to recook and fill, not to mention the time that it'll take to unscrew the jars, etc. If we started right now, exactly, we'd be here until midnight at least. Sean has to leave for a weekend at Newburyport at 10PM. Like I said, I don't think it's happening, but I don't think any of us are courageous enough to leave yet. The whole thing has made Richard pretty upset, which is understandable, but the problem slipped past all four of us so not one of us is really to blame.

I've made some friends online who are going to Lumos. Hopefully I'll get to hang out with them and not be totally awkward-bymyself-or-justwithmymom all weekend.

The BAD news is that the Beatles: LOVE show is now $125. I have to tell her when I get home. Not sure we can swing that. We might wait until we get there and see if we win any money at the slot machines. I really want to go, but there are so many free things to do there it'll be awesome regardless.

I want to do something this weekend but I don't know what. Alli's moving away soon and she expressed an interest in going to Canobie Lake Park. She, Teresa, and I haven't been there forever. It'd be fun going at night for the "discounted" rate, eating some peanut oil fries, playing some games, and riding some trademark Canobie rides. It'd be the perfect opportunity to take some video with my camera. I don't take nearly enough and whenever I do I usually have the footage going the wrong way (photographer's bad habit).

Anyway, that concludes the synopsis of the boring events of my life as of late.

Good day!
Liz
