ooh, the burial figures are lovely.

I love Donna, too. she is fantastic. I dunno if she replaces Rose in my mind yet, as #1 (I think that's because I really related to Rose.) but I do love her. I can't wait for next week!!!!

Ash gave me some Dresden Files audio books, I haven't listened to them yet, as I'm working my way through Harry Potter read by Stephen Fry, but I'm on book 7, so they'll be next!

Oh I long to hear the HP books read by Stephen Fry! I really have to search for those...

And I know you'll adore the Dresden books read by Spike James Marsters! Have you read any of them yet? Jim Butcher just keeps getting better and better IMO.

I haven't ready any Jim butcher books yet. I did see the first few eps of The Dresden Files and thought it was interesting, but I'm lazy about TV (except Doctor Who and Torchwood. And I really miss Pushing Daisies.)

Oh no, you have to forget every single thing from the TV show! They altered the characters too much, not to mention altering the whole canon story arc, and it was kind of a failure.... So just wipe your memory and start fresh w/the books!

And I forgot to mention about my Donna love... see I identify 100% w/Donna, and her Super Office Temp Superpowers! LOL

Your icon makes me squee.

I barely remember the TV show except he talked to a skull, so no worries there.

that makes sense about Donna. And, I do relate to the Office Temp stuff. That's the beauty of companions, they let us have that 1st person perspective, we're with the Doctor vicariously through them. And we have three companions now to relate to.

I couldn't think how to explain that any better. Do you understand what I mean?

I really do love Donna, though. And to think I didn't really like her in Runaway Bride. Oh, didn't you love the (WARNING! SPOILER ALERT) banter between her and Martha "The Doctor's so skinny, is your fiance skinny?" "No, he's kind of...strong." oh, that was fantastic!!

I seriously need new DW icons.
