Last week: Brought Toshiba laptop into repair shop because it decided to stop recognizing/booting from the battery. Bought a new battery and even though it appeared to be charging, the computer still wouldn’t boot up on battery power. Unplug it and it instantly shuts off. Holy s%*t Batman, my internet connection speed seems to have doubled or tripled since Portnetworks installed an upgrade ("smart wifi") to the wireless system in my building. Got moved over to the new system today. Hopefully the days of the Internet Pony Express are behind us. We'll see.
