It's been a while since I wrote any book reviews. I'm sure I must be missing a book in here somewhere... maybe I'll figure that out someday.
First one is "Point of Impact" by Stephen Hunter. Loooong, but very good book. While I know very little about guns, even the more technical aspects didn't leave me bored to tears and wondering what the babble meant. The characters were rather well done. My only real problem was remembering when it was written, as it uses a lot of references to the first Gulf War in the early 90s and Sadam is mentioned in passing a couple times. This one came recommended to me by

The second one is "Flowers in the Attic" by V. C. Andrews. I had long been hearing about this one and since it was in the work library, I decided to borrow it. I'm glad I didn't actually pay for this one, really. I've read worse. It's not that it's badly written, but I could see where it was going way before it got there. I probably would've liked this one more when I was a teenager, myself. I got the impression early on that I was reading a book version of "Mommy Dearest"... and that impression never really left. After the train-wrecks of Palahnuik, this book did little for me. At least I was able to finish it, which is more than I can say for some books.
