Computers: Visio 2003 Printing Bug

May 29, 2008 14:37

Since there's a lot of techies on my list and someone is bound to have been stuck using Visio 2003 as much as I do... If you are having a problem with Visio 2003 printing only 3 pages of your diagrams and nothing more, I have a fix.

Go to Tools > Options. On the "View" tab, under "Text Quality", make sure that "ClearType text display (anti-aliased, LCD displays)" is not selected. Use "Higher quality text display (anti-aliased)" instead.

It's fixed two machines that I've tried it on, using a Canon and an HP printer. I suspect that ClearType must use up too much memory, though I certainly don't know if that's the real reason.
