Disneyland ride closed after woman becomes ill I've been on all the rides noted (unless the "space ride" of the kid is one installed in the past couple years). Actually, I'm pretty sure that I went on the Indiana Jones ride about 5 times in quick succession. That ride is one of the most awesome non-roller-coaster rides I have been on in a long, long time. It's been over 7 years since I was on it and I still get all giddy about it.
I'd be a little interested in the deaths, but not the lady who got sick. I would kinda like to see "how" it happened. I don't remember anything in the rides that I was on at either US Disney park being all that severe. I know freak accidents will happen, but I felt a bit more unsafe on the rides at Six Flags in Maryland. (Not that anything happened there, but they didn't look nearly as meticulously maintained as the Disney parks.)
However... maybe that explains everything! I seem to remember being on Space Mountain when I was 8 years old. Maybe I got brain damage from it back then! If that's the case... I should probably thank Disney. I like my brain being all warped. If it wasn't at that point, it could've been at any of the 10+ times I was at Disney after that and who knows how many roller coasters later.
