In other news I went to a really awesome winter solstice celebration last night. It was feast, with harp music, carol-singing, story-telling and a puppet show as well as ritual. I did my public art presentation today in POL 461. I think it went pretty well, and the class liked it and found it interesting. Several of the sculptures have environmental themes to them, which is an added benefit since Prof Joe U-C is an avid environmentalist.
