Um, guys, I don't know if large pythons can be considered monsters, per se. I think it's kind of a known fact that people buy pythons illegally, and then release them into the wild when they (shock!) get too big to be safe. Like any invasive species, they've started to overrun the Everglades. But that does not a monster make.

So we got slushy ickiness last night for a storm. Northern MN got pummelled with snow, and we got slush. It was.... interesting trying to drive in it today. At the museum this week it's the annual Shutdown Week. Which means the museum is closed and annual maintenance and cleaning is getting done. Gallery Supervisors like me are given the opportunity to come in and clean various galleries and such and such for extra money, as their shifts aren't happening otherwise (also they get cleaners at non-union ( Read more... )

I really gotta tell ya, the time to go to CONvergence is at night!! Because that's when the costumes come out and that's when the parties begin!! Wren, Caitlin, and I went last night at six pm and stayed until one am. Lots of parties, lots of free shots, lots of food and nerds and happy times. Aaaaand I have pictures of all the nerdiness! Behold!
